The Eight Gates are eight specific points on a person's Chakra Pathway System. They limit the overall flow of chakra within a person's body. The basis for the idea of the chakra gates comes from the body's limits on the functions within it. This makes the body much weaker, but it keeps the body from expiring too soon. By opening these gates, the user can surpass their own physical limits at the cost of extreme damage to their own bodies.

The Shadow of the Dancing Leaf is used to position a ninja's opponent into a vulnerable aerial position. The ninja will first quickly appear below their opponent, then with a swift upper kick they will launch their target into the air. The ninja will then jump into the air to "shadow" the target with the target's back to their chest. Since this is the opponent's blind spot, it can be used as a set up to a number of jutsu. Rock Lee uses it in preparation for the Front Lotus. Sasuke, after copying it from Lee, uses it for his Lion Combo, but because he lacks Lee's training it puts some strain on his body.


Name: Front Lotus (表蓮華, Omote Renge; Viz "Initial Lotus", English TV "Primary Lotus")
Type: Kinjutsu, B-rank, Offensive, Short range (0-5m)
Front Lotus requires the opening of the first of the Eight Chakra Gates, giving the user five times their normal strength. The user launches the opponent into the air and then uses Shadow of the Dancing Leaf. Now behind his opponent, the user restrains them and pile drives them into the ground headfirst. Because it uses one of the chakra gates, the user is left extremely fatigued, making this jutsu a "double-edged sword


Name: Reverse Lotus (裏蓮華, Ura Renge; English TV "Hidden Lotus")
Type: Kinjutsu, A-rank, Offensive, Short range (0-5m)
This jutsu is an advanced and more destructive version of the Front Lotus, which requires that at least three chakra gates be opened (in every instance in which it has been used, five gates are opened). Once enough gates are open, the user launches the target into the air and strikes them at inhuman speed before hitting them with one arm and one foot, sending the target crashing into the ground. This is usually fatal due to the speed and power behind the attack.

Name: Eternal Chaotic Dance

Type: Kinjutsu, Offensive, Short Range (0-5m)
After opening seven chakra gates, maka punches the ground, creating an earthquake that launches his opponent into the air. He then attacks his foe many times at the speed of light, moving so fast that it seems as if there are three makas attacking at once. To finish, maka punches the enemy from the sky three times, slamming them back to the ground.

This jutsu uses six of the Eight Gates to give the user unmatched speed and strength. After the gates are open, maka will approach his opponent in a somewhat distinctive stance and, once he gets close enough, kick them into the air. He then hits his opponent over and over, causing a peacock-like fan of flaming chakra to develop. Once maka is finished, his opponent will fall back to the ground, covered with the attacks' aura.

if it happens to be lightning outside , makaveli can then draw lightning down upon his body using his white blade. The current will be contained within and around makaveli's form. He will then begin to spin in place forming a whirling vortex of wind and electricity. The vortex will take on the form of a dragon’s head and will cover the area in front of him. It will then strike out against his opponent and painfully trap them in the vortex. Even if the attack doesn't directly connect with his foe, the lightning can jump from the vortex to hit a nearby target.this doesst use makaveli's chakra, just him directing the pure lightning which he can do

A Hand spin that is done in a very similar way as the 1990 in breakdancing. The capoeirista begins by turning his body in the same manner as a meia lua de compasso. By generating enough torque, he raises his leg which is the opposite the hand he places down. Keeping the weight of the entire body focused on the outer lower portion of his palm, the capoeirista can keep the circular momentum spin going by lowering the amount of friction between his hand and the surface simultaneously alternating hands during the spins. The variations and ending positions for this move are virtually limitless.

Lee flip kicks the enemy into the air and opens several chakra gates. He dashes into the air where he kicks the enemy two times, launching them higher into the air where he strikes kicks them towards the ground. He dashes to the ground before them and punches the falling enemy away in a massive wave of chakra

Name: Lion Combo (獅子連弾, Shishi Rendan; English TV "Lion's Barrage"; Ultimate Ninja "Barrage of Lions")

This jutsu is a variant of Rock Lee's Front Lotus, which Sasuke develops after using his Sharingan to copy the first part of the move. Because Lee wasn't given the chance to finish the attack, Sasuke makes his own ending to it. Like Lee, Sasuke gets to the point where he does Shadow of the Dancing Leaf to get behind an airborne opponent. He then delivers a series a of blows that differ between uses. All variations end with the opponent being thrown to the ground and kicked in the chest

Type: Taijutsu
Description: A taijutsu style developed and used by Masato Kiriho, It utilises the unique ability of his second stomach (which can produce a range of acids and toxins)to deliver chemically enhanced blows. Basically, he mixes the chemicals with his chakra, so he can deliver punches and kicks with a wide range of different affects. The most common affect he likes to use is to mix his chakra with a parylising toxin, so that when he punches and opponent they are parylised and incapacitated. If he chooses to, he can also fire blasts of acid enhanced chakra (Acid Burst Technique).
